Crimson in color. 15.3% ABV. Killer nose of red fruits, herbs and pepper. Medium body with mouthwatering acidity. Tremendous concentration and balance. Cherry, raspberry, blackberry and a hint of tobacco on the palate. Tremendous length on the finish. Stunning Zinfandel from an iconic vineyard. This will age well. Best over the next 3-5 years.
Dark crimson in color. 15.3% ABV. Stunning nose of red and black fruits, citrus and herbs. Full bodied with mouth watering acidity. Bursting with bright, juicy fruits. Blackberry, raspberry, blood orange and pepper on the palate. Tremendous length on the finish. An outrageously good field blend with a long life ahead of it. Best over the next 4-6 years.
Cork Vault Bottle Share 9.1.22 (Charlotte, NC): Slo-oxed for a couple of hours before sampling. This is the farmer turned winemaker who clearly knows his stuff. A wine known by the many Bedrock and Ravenswood fans this was another delightful surprise of the night. Lightly aromatic nose. Far softer on the mouthfeel than I was expecting. Wonderfully integrated red fruits and soft tannins adding gentle structure. A super fun wine that would be even better with bar-b-que. A delightful wine and another new one for me.

Decanted an hour. This drank beautifully. Complex, subtle and graceful. Wondeful expression of a grand cru vineyard.
