  • Aromatics of lychee and overripe peaches. Palate reflects that, with rich texture (I guessed 14% abv, but the label says 12%) and a mouth coating finish that goes on and on. Effusively fruity, this isn't what I'd call elegant, but it is decently balanced, with enough sweetness to counter gewurz's characteristic bitterness in the finish without killing its ability to pair with food. I can do without the weird soft-serve swirl bottle, but the wine is pretty good.

  • The stunning bottle is the best part of this wine. Almost undrinkable.

Traditional, seductive Gewurtz aromas of white flowers, lychee, pineapple, smoked honey, ginger and wet stone.

Palate is off-dry with luscious texture and pronounced acidity.

Flavours are, quite frankly, awful. This tastes like drinking gas from the gas station. Overwhelming. Petrol notes dominate. Couldn’t finish the glass.

    Not recommended.

  • Pale yellow colour. Nose of white flowers, tropical fruit, camomile and a hint of baking spice. Off-dry, rich and creamy with a slightly bitter-sweet, lengthy finish.
