  Ouf quel vin! Un vin de texture avec de la mâche, vraiment unique. Un nez très floral et une bouche généreuse, sur les arômes de fruits blancs du verger, avec une longue finale. Il a gagné depuis la dernière fois (2021) l’équilibre qu’il lui manquait à son arrivée. Complet et impressionnant.

  Les Tontons Trinqueurs Tasting (Meursault): Walk around tasting. Also classically Chablis with lots of bright textures start-to-finish. Slightly awkward and firm now, this will need another year or three to integrate further and lose its sharpest edges.

  First half drunk over an hour. At first I thought that it reminded me of a dry Rheinhessen riesling with its electrifying acidity and mineral character. But this is drier, I think, and the mineral character is neither that of Westhofen nor that of Nierstein. The aftertaste has considerable length. Excellent and very good to drink now though with plenty of stuffing and structure for extended cellaring.
  
  Not much changed on the second day but a delightful drink with that acidity and the long aftertaste, though challenged by the lemon peel in a vegetables-and lentilles dei Puy dish.

  Le 1er soir, c’est un peu fermé, ce à quoi je m’attendais sur un 1er cru si jeune, surtout un Vosgros qui a davantage de structure que d’autres 1ers. Bouchon remis et le 2e soir, il est plus près de ce qu’on aime du Vosgros: un Chablis de plénitude qui se termine sur la finesse. Il est loin de son apogée: j’avais seulement envie d’ouvrir une bouteille plus tôt pour tester. Idéalement à laisser en cave quelques années, comme d’habitude pour cette cuvée que j’aime beaucoup.
