  Mongeard-Mugneret and friends (London Borough of Bromley): Served blind as one of a pair - similar appellation, same vintage. Deeper colour of the two, a somewhat reductive nose, and a quite boozy palate. Decent stuff. Revealed as a bourg blanc - more than decent for the appelation, but also clearly the runner up of the flight.

  워낙 싸게 사서 만족 레드보다는 못 한듯 버터리에서 산도가 받혀주는 맛으로 변했으나 피니쉬에 약간의 쓴 맛이 있음 의외로 피니쉬는 오래가고 산도도 오래감 향은 1시간반 되니 다 날라감

  Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of medium lemon colour, with wide watery rim and legs.
  Nose: Clean, with medium (-) intensity aromas of citrus fruit of lemon, green fruit of green apple, floral notes of honeysuckle, herbaceous notes of grassy, mineral notes of oyster shell, kernel notes of almond, maturity notes of honey. The wine is developing.
  Palate: Dry with medium (+) acidity, the wine has medium (+) alcohol and medium (+) body, with medium intensity flavours of citrus fruit of lemon, green fruit of pear, sweet spice of ginger, maturity notes of honey, kernel notes of almond. The wine has a medium finish.
  Conclusion: Good quality Bourgogne Chardonnay with a decent nose demonstrating reasonable complexity, with the minerality particularly interesting. The palate has good vibrancy, well-balanced and showing good concentration, with bits of sweet spicy in flavours, finishing with a fair length. It is ready to drink now and not meant for further ageing.
