Matt was kind enough to not have drank this over the last five years. So tonight we will!! With veggie lasagne. At the cork pull, super smooth on the palate. Medium body, medium acid, med/- tannin. Palate shows boysenberry and lighter on the brown sugar than previous. No herb, just super smooth. Concentrated yet more ethereal fruit than prior. Still feeling a window of drink to 2018.

Dark and clear in the glass. Dark fruit on the nose. Long finish with RRV spice. Good acidity and balance with the fruit. Went well with the Thanksgiving turkey and fixings. Did I mention the finish?

Cherry raspberry and boysenberry aromas. Generally a plush fruitiness but not too rich. Sweet brown sugar as a backdrop. In a really great spot right now. Drink to 2018.
