13% alcohol. Sauv bl 71%, Sém 20%, Sauv gris 9%. M-L fermentation blocked. Unusual clear bottle. Long cork of above average quality. Youthful straw colour. The nose has good intensity with some sauvignon varietal markers complemented by exotic fruit; very fresh overall. Similar in the mouth with more elegance than intensity; the acidity is well judged. A pretty wine, but maybe not an arresting one, and repurchase would be heavily price dependent, say 20€ or below.

Commanderie de Bordeaux: Chateau Lagrange with Mathieu Bordes (Paris Dining Club, Mpls, MN): Pale gold color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes. From magnum. Lemon, lemon peel, a little stone fruit, with a lovely savory ocean minerality aroma on the nose and palate. this is somewhat linear, taking on some weight in glass, crisp, with gooseberry and saline emerging more on the palate.

13% alcohol. SvgnB 71%, Sem 20%, SvgnG 9%.Very good long cork. Extremely pale colour. Good nose of ripe Sauvignon, lemony with some pineapple and just a hint of sweat; very neat. The mouth is similar but maybe a bit too simple, with a clean refreshing quality and some gooseberry in the finish. No sign of oak at any stage. The 22€ asking price seems a bit steep compared to Clos Floridène (for instance), but there is no denying that this is a very well made wine. Also, more time may allow the Sémillon to come through and add complexity.

Typical nose of a Bordeaux blanc. Stone fruit, bell pepper and a hint of mineral. Aromas intensify on palate and the wine gives a refreshing acidity. Slightly bitter finish that is rather short. Simple wine that at this price point you can find better alternatives.

Not blind
Light dried apricots on the nose.
A relaxed and light fruity windy that dries without an overly bright acidity. Flat in the middle.
Light metallic and vegetal in the finish.
