Clear ruby. Nose of raspberry, strawberry, a bit of wet soil. Not as flavoursome on palate and tannin is still noticeable. Finish with a hint of jasmine. Straightforward.

Dry dusty tart entry, medium bodied, grapes - unidentifiable by taste - not quite ripe. Drinkable as a table wine requiring food rather than as a varietal and certainly not as a Pinot Noir.

Medium-ruby colour. Light bodied and smooth. Refreshing to drink and even did well slightly chilled in the Singapore tropical climate.
Notes of cherries and raspberry, mostly sour red fruits but a hint of sweeter strawberry too. Surprising tertiary notes which invoked (albeit in a much lighter way) the earthiness of Burgundian pinot noir. However, this does not have any of the woody/vanilla type ones one would expect from a PN aged in wood - not surprising considering that Trimbach are resolute in their opposition to aging in wood, instead opting for steel!
Enjoyable red Alsace and perfect for those who want a lighter pinot noir experience.

A bit of earthiness, a bit of red fruit, but nothing really stood out. Probably not one I'd but again.

My initial encounter with their Pinot, and I couldn't be happier. Solid and reasonably priced.
