Deeply floral (rose) on the nose, with additional notes of cherry and charcoal. Satin texture, medium body. Lots of dried red fruit on the palate. Chalky tannins.

This looks much like last time, but has opened somewhat with more accent on the rich fruit, the Grenache, the richesse. Still very much a vertical wine. While very ypoung, it can be enjoyed now (we did, anyway). #CafeVictor#birthday#Erik

No notes, but drank beautifully over a couple of nights. Everything you want from a SoRo Grenache-driven wine. (80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre)
14.5% abv but never felt boozy
Need to pick up a couple more and see how they go over about 5-7 years?

Decanted and drank part of the bottle over several hours. Recorked with a rubber cork, and finished the bottle 5 days later. Still robust. Expecting this will age very well. Looking forward to trying the Ventabren.

Still enjoying. Tasted alongside Cuvee Ventabren and hard to tell a big difference (esp a 50% difference), but most of it attributable to the Mourvedre here swapped in for Syrah. Comparatively slightly less floral nose and more pronounced tannins. Undeniable value.
