Making pizzas outside with some friends. Thought I'd bring along an easy drinking Dolcetto to go along with the pure Italian food. A Dolcetto from one of my favourite winemakers in Piedmont in fact! Certainly a good pairing which was confirmed by my friends several times.
An elegant, fruity and straightforward wine, showing of pure red fruit flavours, cherry, strawberry. Aged for 50% on Slavonian oak but hardly noticeable. Low tannic levels overall.
