  • 2 of 2, much better than the first bottle, although still not my preferred style. Best to drink this soon.

  • A: Medium yellow
N: Medium (+) nose of peach, pear, yoghurt, brioche, thyme, blossom, bitter wet stone. The fruit is ripe almost pureed.
P: Dry, medium (-) acidity, high alcohol, full body, medium (+) intensity and medium (+) finish
C: I think the balance is a little off. I would want more acidity to balance the high alcohol and very ripe fruit. The length and intensity are good and this has the start of real complexity here. Its a very good quality wine but this with this acidity, this is not suitable for ageing.

    Tech Sheet:
    soil: Granitic
Viticulture : Natural cover cropping to avoid erosion. Vigour and yield control, leaf-thinning and green harvesting to promote grape ripening. Disbudding in the spring.
Vinification et élevage :The grapes are hand-picked; then sorted and left to settle in the cellar. Alcoholic and malolactic fermented with native yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats.
