  Mature but lively appearance; expressive nose, mature but fresh, impressive black fruit, forest floor and tobacco; lovely freshness and minerality on the palate, cool and transparent, losing some weight but still juicy, well balanced and harmonious (12.5% ABV), hint of cream, rosehip and strawberry, light tannins are ever so slightly dry; hint of currants on the finish, good resonance and length. Extra point for the quality of the nose. Has survived remarkably well but drink soon. At restaurant Café Parlotte, Amsterdam, NL.
