  On ne présente plus Carillon, basé à Puligny. Voilà exactement l'idée que je me fais d'un bourgogne blanc de qualité à prix raisonnable. Nez charmeur sur le beurre, les fruits jaunes et le melon, bouche ronde et fruitée avec juste ce qui faut de gras mais sans perdre en tension. Finale séduisante et raffinée. Très belle longueur. Elegance, pureté, distinction. Du grand art à ce niveau d'appellation. (88+)*** Carillon, based in Puligny, needs no introduction. This is precisely what I envision as a quality white Burgundy at a reasonable price. A charming nose of butter, yellow fruits, and melon, a round and fruity palate with just the right amount of richness without losing tension. A seductive and refined finish. Very nice length. Elegance, purity, distinction. A masterpiece at this appellation level. (88+)

  Pale gold. Citrus, caramel, and stone fruits. Reductive and past the prime if there were ever one. Off balanced.

  Gold colour. Not a lot of smell, maybe a bit citrus. Taste of green apples and lemon, finishes with medium acidity and some oak.
