  Beaucoup de notes de petits fruits rouges où les épices et la vanille du a l'élevage se marie superbement. Belle complexité en bouche, excellent et rafiné.

  From a plot just below Chaignots. Plums, spices, iron notes, followed by a generous blue fruit profile, I like the mid palate silky sap, just a nit of warmth, and good structural power and long finish. Lacking a bit of fresh kick, so drink it at 65F, good winemaking as this is not overextracted, not too much oak influence either, another plus point. Accessible now, the wine improved after two hours of air, showing more strcuture and longer finish. Drink now with decant or cellar for another 10 years. Very good hedonistic juice for its level. Similar to Grivot (Charmois) or Hudelot Noellat (Bas de Combe) in a quality rich inflected package, do not expect lifted elegance, but hedonistic booties to give a crude image.
