Tasted at Locanda in the Cannubi vineyard, this wine had a deep red center and orange rims. Medium intensity nose of raspberries, minerals, roses, and some high toned notes.
In the mouth, this wine was big at first but mellowed quickly to be medium bodied with rounded tannin, good acidity, and very good length.
It will certainly last, and may improve, over the next couple decades.

Festa del Piemonte: Master Class & Lunch (The Pool/Grill): For many this was one of the wines of the tasting. It's a softer style. More edges to it than the Trediberri had. Darker red fruits. A hint of floral. Again very young and needs time (and perhaps since it was the beg of the tasting our palates needed to readjust to the younger wines as well). Overall enjoyable and well done and good. Missing a certain je ne sais quoi for me, but I wouldn't throw it out of my glass at all.
