2019 Georges Noellat Vosne Romanée Les Chaumes from Peter. Bottle open 2nd day. Deep ruby. Intense aromas of spicy, dark fruit. Tannins are round but there are a lot of them; they have some intensity. Finish is long but compact and not complex and expansive as a peacock's tail. Wine is still tightly coiled and it has a lot more to give with some time in the bottle. Loads of potential.
Medium red , nose of violets and red fruit, primarily red fruit flavours. Good acidity, a lingering sweetness, has a tartness and slight dryness from the tannins. Not worth opening until a few more years . There was no appecable gain after tasting this wine on the second day....very tight wine .

Flamboyant fruit bomb initially. I thought this was a CA Pinot initially. After a few hours seemed to tighten up a bit. Showed a little more spice on the nose. Fine tannins. Still very plush fruit with sappy texture. Just borders on being flabby but remains fresh on the finish. Not sure how this will age but I hope it firms up and shows a bit more structure.

Big ripe dark primary fruit, touch of gunflint/graphite, low acid. 14.5% alc (?!?) Too big and primary even for a fruit-lover me. Will try again in a couple years, hoping it may dry out some.

Beautiful fragrant, floral nose. Intense red forest berries, spices. Silky in the mouth, expressive, wide and deep. No hard edges, just pure pleasure. One of the best young red burgundies I have ever tasted. In Chablis.
