A rare white from a village dominated by Grand Cru reds. You could tell that there is some nice fruit underneath, though the oak is a bit clumsy. The body is medium, and I think this will evolve into a lovely elegant white Burgundy. I'd leave it it for another 3 years at least to integrate, maybe 5.

(C) ordered off a restaurant wine list PNP - A nose of toasted rice cake, sweet oak, ripe citrus fruit and wet stone. It was round, generous and quite rich, but it felt a little flat to me. Would like it to have more acidity and minerality.
