Aerated with a Vinturi and decanted for one hour. Nose of black cherry, black raspberry, loamy earth, spice and a hint of anise. Well integrated black cherry, black raspberry, loamy earth and spice on the palate. Long, layered finish. Medium bodied. Served with mushroom, asparagus risotto.

PnP. Medium dark red. Intense nose of plum and berries; smells like RRV Pinot not Sonoma Coast. Palate is very ripe fruit driven and enjoyable, but lacks the complexity this vineyard is capable of. Seems like it was picked very ripe which is somewhat TRB's style. Fun to drink but not that interesting.

FMIII hit it on the head for me with this quote, "I typically love Summa and I do like some age on the vineyard but I simply think that the 2019 its just a bit rich and too much for me." Frank, glad to see that it wasn't just me. Unfortunately, this was the first of four.

Really pretty juice. Strawberries, flowers, cola and balsamwood - a Sonoma Coast beauty - I plan on drinking my remaining bottles in the nearer term to enjoy its freshness - soft acids and tannins yield a fruitbomb that has no edges that argue for cellar time in order to round off. Perfect now
