Deep ruby color. The nose has medium+ intensity with cherry and black fruit aromas and a very spicy character (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, peppercorn), earthy aromas, forest floor, mushroom, and some nutty notes. On the palate, high acidity, high tannins (fine, chewy), and high alcohol. Medium intensity, full body, with pronounced oak flavors at first that give way to spicy and fruity notes in a finish of medium length.

Grapes are Corvina and Oseleta. Medium plus nose is funky, barnyard, dark fruits, turned earth, forest floor. Palate is punchy, dry, fruit driven with a dark style. Lots of flavor for the price.

90% Corvina with 10% Oseleta. Youthful but beginning to drink well. Needs food right now.

Plush and berryish on first opening this evolved with air, tightening and showing fine-grained tannins. Really good.
