Head to head vs a 2020 Leflaive Oncle Vincent Bourgogne.
Lovely nose, some tropical fruit, subtle hints of vanilla. Quite broad, rich palate, good length. Nicely balanced, and more subtle than the nose suggests.
This is in a very good place right now, and outscored the more linear, citrusy Oncle Vincent. Lovely.

It’s a great Chardonnay, but I think I’m just not a huge Chardonnay fan. Definitely buttery.

Aroma av tobakk og lauv. Rund, oljeaktig i munnen. Behagelig syre, fersk frukt. Denne er det verdt å kjøpe igjen!

Oaky with grilled lemon, orange zest and a little bit of butter. Very good, but lacks something.

Too much oak, butter, vanilla popcorn. Will likely integrate, but who knows really.
