Ripe cherry-wild strawberry end of the spectrum, dust and umami, and seems more balanced and interesting than a bottle tasted last year...otherwise consistent with excellent notes below, especially MMs. There's enough depth to make it very enjoyable. Crowd pleaser go-to with solid QPR.

At first, it's all cherry on the nose and steel on the palate, but it switches up a bit with some air. At that point, I'm getting some honey-roasted nuts, Dr Pepper, and black tea. So I guess it's somewhere between minerally and sugary. Pretty decent surface-level juice at this price.

At Cru Nantucket while on vacation. No formal notes as I battled a cold (making all tasting notes a challenge). Cranberry, strawberry. Good mouthfeel. Would recommend.

Color/App: light, translucent fuchsia/ruby core -> diffuse ruby rim. Lovely, feminine nose right on PnP of pomegranate and cranberry, forest floor, mulling spices and beetroot. Medium bodied palate with a lithe, silky texture, good acidity and a moderately-long finish with just a touch of fine tannins still. Palate shows rhubarb, pomegranate, cherries, allspice and a hint of cola. Really well balanced (14.7% Etoh and no burn) and a delicious example of a SLH village wine. What a pleasure to drink.

Another great SLH by Roar. Drank at graduation party so no formal notes.
