  By the glass. Some no longer remember that Phelps was one of the first Californian wineries to produce using Rhone varieties. Memories of Beaumes-de-Venise for its abundant density but with lots of fruit and a wood not intrusive, still long and tasty. On the nose I find it much simpler with aromas of redcurrants and pepper. It has a very special attraction supported by the name of the label. Sometimes Mistral wind blows beyond the Mediterranean sea.
  
  Por copas. Algunos ya no recuerdan que Phelps fue una de las primeras bodegas californianas en elaborar con variedades del Ródano. Recuerdos a Beaumes-de-Venise por su abundante densidad pero con mucha fruta y una madera no intrusiva y aún así largo y sabroso. En nariz me parece mucho más simple con aromas a grosellas rojas y pimienta. Tiene un atractivo sustentado en el nombre de la etiqueta. En ocasiones, el viento Mistral sopla más allá del Mediterráneo.
