I agree with what have been said below. The style is fairly modern and accessible, but I reckon the grapes have been destemmed. The style is almost as if Méo-Camuzet made a Spätburgunder in Baden.
It’s such a crushable wine though, offering luscious sweet strawberry and cherry on both palate and nose, a refreshing acidity, and not much in terms of dry extract. I struggle slightly with recognising its 1er Cru status, and currently it isn’t much better than the Clos du Meix Garnier. I do, however, estimate that this will be great in 4-7 years time, when it has evolved a bit.
For the money it’s still a good value with modern burgundy prices, and I don’t regret having another 2 bottles in stock.

Night 1 I was underwhelmed by this, however a night of air did wonders and it showed very well on day 2. Crunchy red fruits with floral notes, orange peel, and maybe a hint of mineral. The palate has much more freshness and vibrancy with a lovely mineral hint. Really tasty. If you open now; give it a long decant; otherwise let it rest a few years.

This bottle showed even better than the first. Similar profile, but seemed even more settled than the prior one. Really silky texture here.

Pretty stereotypical modern destemmed burgundy notes... I think I'm getting bored by these flavors.

Red fruit dominated with a underlying minerality. Approachable now, but there is an underlying structure to support aging. Really lovely.
