  This is an incredibly rich wine and amazing with steak. Full bodied. Dark and concentrated fruit. Anise, blueberry, cedar. Powerful and could certainly age but also amazing in 2023

  1 hour decant thru a powered aerator bc who wants to wait for your wine? Really nice client gift. Deep semi translucent cranberry color and medium plus body. Black cherry and necco wafer meet with a pinch of orange peel and faint crushed pepper. Has a sweetness (think traces of maple and honey) to it that is unique and, unexpectedly, it’s best feature. Not jammy or over the top at all. Held together with already nicely balanced acidity and tannins. 94 and likely to climb.
