  A real treat and complete surprise. You never know what you're going to get with a 20+yr old wine, much less one bought from Winebid. This was very much alive and had wonderful notes of soft pomegranate, cherry, mushrooms, sage and allspice. The wine is very complete with no noticeable holes in it, wonderfully soft and elegant. The finish was surprisingly long and lush.
