Medium garnet red. Mild red fruit nose with a hint of mushroom. The wine was very smooth on the mouth, well balanced and ready to drink now. Moderate red fruit on the tongue. Very easy to drink and quite enjoyable.

Light ruby color. A bright and elegant display on the nose of raspberries and red apple peel, rose petals, violets, with some cola, herbal tea and light roast coffee. Velvety, fresh and crisp on the palate, with delightful balance. The raspberry and chilled cherry fruit is delicious and fresh, mixed with notes of oregano, black tea, some clay and mushroom tones. Really exciting stuff that should do well with a few years in the cellar. Aged 10 months in 54% new French oak.

The dark, gravel minerality-driven nose wafts blackberry, black plum, maraschino cherry sauce, rose petal, and rhubarb. Full bodied with lush, copious tannin and a core of dense acid, this is a structurally significant wine. The flavor profile includes slightly sweet black licorice, plum sauce, dark cherry, black currant, and cassis. There's a lot to like right now, though in five-plus years there will be a lot to love.

Cassis, blackberry; softer than Klopp and Meredith; high acidity; juicy and fruit driven; could have been a merlot; tasted at winery
