Tasty, light-to-medium bodied, and with green apple notes that lend a perception of sweetness to the palate. I prefer the Classic cuvee, as it’s a bit more crisp and less sweet, but this is a good crowd pleaser for uncritical consumption.

Thanksgiving Dinner with the B Family+ (Their House): Slo-oxed for about 5 minutes. Just a faint tinge of pink in the glass. The nose is mostly yeasty with just a bit of red fruit. A lively, not very refined mousse leads to light red fruit flavors along with brioche and lemon. An OK wine, but nothing to seek out. The group of 13 consumed 3 bottles of this wine during 1.5 hours with hors d'oeuvres. Said to be Iron Horse's version of a Blanc de Noirs but I'm betting there are some true BdN Champagnes that are better at this price ($40).

Part of a large tasting. Raspberry, cherry, pear, peach aromas and flavors. Medium body. Good acidity. Good finish.

Nothing stands out, but it’s perfectly pleasant.

Rich, yeasty, touch oxidized side. Decent but not worth the price.
