Tasted at the WFFT auction mtg. Very limited production, a nice balance of cherry zing and cranberry tartness. Loads of acidity keep things lively but is a little dominant. Still, very enjoyable

This is a Jason Lett project -- I think this was his first vintage? Nice Pinot nose with some pink grapefruit notes -- aromas remind me of 2004 burg. Wonderful palate entry and mouth feel. But then these odd flavors follow -- esoteric red fruit from some obscure place -- no where I'd like to be. This is not really drinkable. Not sure what went wrong here. I don't think this is an off bottle -- I think it's off fruit. Tasted over two days with little change and a lot of dismay. I'm a huge Eyrie fan, and this stuff just doesn't measure up.
We drank this bottle in a brown bag tasting with some big name wines (Rochioli, Sea Smoke Ten and Southing, Ojai, Black Kite) and it finshed last out of nine wines. It was very thin and really acidic.
