Lots of ripe plums, some dark cherry on the nose, but the fruit mellows on the palate. There's still plenty of structure too. I found this a little too delicate for grilled veal chops.

Bright ruby in color with a subtle nose. Big fruit -- black cherries, red cherries -- that is not well resolved and showing too much tannin which did not mellow over 90 minutes.

Still has cherry nose and dried cherry in the mouth, pronounced but mellow tannins. Fabulous with roasted salmon. Drink remaining bottles soon.
