4th Saturday Brown Bagger (R&D’s): Our host, being disappointed by the first three, pulled the cork on this wine and gave me a wink- no doubt as to what he was opening. Dark ruby color with notes of wild strawberry and spice. No doubt that this was a Lewis vin gris.

4th Saturday Group (R&D's): Double blind, though as soon as I began to pour this I knew exactly what it was- few rosés have such a color. Deep ruby red color with notes of peppery spice and wild strawberry. Flavors of strawberry, melon, white currant and pepper. Easy to guess 2020 Lewis Vin Gris, and what a terrific vintage for this wine. 92-93 pts.
