The Blind Drunks monthly tasting (Chateau Lay): Notes of strawberry, bright cherry and pepper. Nice depth of fruit and spice flavors on the palate, with good acidity and a very nice finish. Impressive.

Pretty nice. Knowing Lewis, I expected something more oaky, more heavy but they did this rose right. More earthy than sweet, and what I liked here was that the wine retains a licorice note from the syrah.
