  • Fun, rustic, lighthearted wine. On the nose, got a bit of funk (brett?), tart red fruit (pomegranate/cranberry/raspberry), minerality, a touch of an herbal quality as well. Good acidity, lean tannins, palate is very burgundian.

Definitely showed better on day 2…upon first opening it was hard to get much beyond the funky nose. Not especially complex or expressive overall, but the lifted and bright aromatics that come through on the second day elevate this wine to something that I’d seek out again. If you told me this was 1er cru burgundy, I would believe it. Day 1: 87, Day 2: 91+

  • By the glass. Listán negro wine and apparently a small contribution of others varieties from very old vineyards with an aging of 9 months in concrete (20%) and also in oak fudres of 2500 liters the other 80%. It seems that this winery seeks to specialize in offering quality in medium-low-end bottles with a moderate alcoholic strength of 13.20 ABV. On the nose, toasted aromas stand out over other of red berries. On the palate it is an intense wine, balanced by a high degree of acid, short and delicious aftertaste but in return offers a high score of some wine lawyer. You know perfectly why so up to you.

  • This one is fascinating . Popped and poured . Drinks like a cross between pinot noir and Northern Rhône Syrah. Very reductive nose that did not blow off with time and air. Definitely wild on that he nose i. e., very peppery /earthy, but very pleasant /tame on the palate . Good acidity /very food friendly . Tannins in the background . Solid finish .
