Root Day - dark lemon in glass. Nose of ripe apple, citrus, pear, mineral and saline. On the palate it’s brisk with pear, apple, mineral and the salinity. Medium finish and still drinking very well.

Root day - under screw cap - lemon colour - still cold from the fridge - nose of mineral, lemon and melon. Palate shows the acidity with a crisp and dry mineral driven entrance. The flavours are mineral, lemon, light cantaloupe and just a touch of salinity. The finish is long with the mineral, salinity and citrus continuing. Pretty tasty - will wait to see what happens when it warms a bit.

Citrus essence dominates on the nose and up front in the mouth, slightly oily texture (almost like a Viognier?), finishes quick on mild acidity. One dimensional but also very tasty in that dimension.

Citrus, great mid weight to the palate. Fresh and the perfect summer drop.

Leaf Day - again the reductive character when opened but this time it didn’t completely disappear making the wine a little less enjoyable.
