Delicate ruby. A lot of interest on the nose with violets, black cherry, rhubarb, sage, earth and struck match. Lighter bodied on the palate with lovely freshness and a savoury, peppery character. A very interesting wine with a great sense of place! Drink now or hold.
WSET notes:
Pale ruby.
Medium plus intensity on the nose with cranberry, rhubarb, black cherry, violet, pumice, earth, sage and struck match. Developing.
Medium plus intensity on the palate with black pepper and savoury notes coming through. Light body, high acidity, medium alcohol, low tannins, medium plus finish.
Can drink now but has potential for ageing.

Medium light red, stunning wine, cherries & strawberries nose with savoury elements, smoky, lots going on in mouth with high acidity, an interesting juice, 100% whole bunch grown on volcanic soil, unfiltered

Ruby - medium. On the nose, nicely mineral and reductive. Smokey. Crunchy red fruits - red currants and cranberry. All this carries through to the palate. Medium body. Really good length. Nice smokey savoury notes on the palate particularly, supporting this crunchy fruit. Nice freshness. Lightly chalky grippy tannins. Really interesting texture to this wine. Really lovely - compelling. Be super interesting to see how this develops.

Suertes del Marques, Envinate & Ekonomou Wine Tasting (Mr Vertigo): The wine shows low intensity, close to the Cruz Santa as as style, red cherry and currant, just a bit funky The wine shows smooth palate, red fresh currant and cherry, spicy, medium to high tannins and acidity, mineral with a nice fresh finish
