Pronounced on the nose with blackberry, raspberry, graphite and clove.
Pronounced on the palate with cassis and light cedar. High acidity, high fine tannins, high alcohol, full body, long finish.
A great wine but really expected more depth and complexity. As with Fay and SLV, graphite note was really dominant. As per my other notes from the same tasting, drunk very young so maybe just needs time.

Amazingly long finish. Such strong tannins, though quite chalky. Very unique and well structured wine, positioned for the long run. Perfectly balanced, great mix between new and old world styles. Not sweet at all, but with refreshing dark fruit to balance mid pallet earthiness. Can’t imagine how much better this wine will show as the tannins wear off. What is really intriguing is what lies underneath the tannins. Such quality fruit. Definitely a wine worth trying now, but only if you have several other bottles that you can enjoy as the wine develops.

4 years in ageing. PNP into Schott Zwiesel tasting glass (“Flower” day): Medium bright purplish ruby to the eyes.
Clearly the most concentrated wine out of the flight here.
Very nice wine and needs another 5-10 years of age to be enjoyable. 93-94 points.
