I wonder if the low price & widespread availability of this wine does it a disservice. Still a deep red with no bricking, after an hours breathing it was singing & still can go for a few years yet. A better value Shiraz is hard to find

Decent Shiraz. Some hints of maturity. Typical nose; nutmeg and vanilla, rather impressive at this price point. Not very drying but slightly bitter. Needs food. Worked well with a tomato/pepper based pasta. Recommend to let it breath 20-30 min. It is ready now, but I think it needs another year or two for best results. This was my only bottle, but if I had another, I'd hold it till 2014-2015.

The shiraz-loving Mrs H thought this was extremely enjoyable. Not the most complex, but was even better when she finished it off over the following few days.

Good honest Shiraz from Australia. Good value for the money. Intense nose of spice and chocolaty notes, in mouth surprisingly smooth but definitely not top of the range

Drink up if you have any bottles left. On the downward slope now.
