Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 93 points

  • Flowers, pine trees, spice and black cherries pop in the nose. On the palate, the wine is opulent, polished with a core of ripe, sweet, fresh, black plums, blueberry and mint that hold your attention from start to finish. As I wrote when tasted this from the barrel, this is clearly a new level of quality at Rochebelle. Much of that credit deservedly goes to their new consultant, Thomas Duclos. Drink from 2024-2040.

  • Dark garnet in color, the wine opens with spicy, dark red fruits, licorne, flowers, espresso and wet earth. Medium/full-bodied, elegantly textured, fresh and silky, the fruit expresses a beautiful sense of purity. Polished and refined from start to finish, this is clearly a new style of wine at Rochebelle and a big step up in quality from previous vintages. Much of that credit deservedly goes to their new consultant, Thomas Duclos. 92-94
