  • Disgorged 12 Jan 2022. I believe, but I'm not absolutely sure, that it's 80/20 PN/C, and 5g/l dosage.

On first opening there was an odd soapy aspect to this, but that quickly burned off.

On the nose, citrus, apples, a fresh almost saline note.

These follow to the palate which is very crisp. No evidence of malolactic fermentation. Citrus, apples, a hint of redcurrant on the mid-palate, and a finish which is a little drying and quite long with hints of gooseberry.

Overall this is a very decent crisp wine that is working well as an aperitif. Perhaps lacking some complexity at this stage, but maybe that would come with age.

OK, but not great, QPR now at the ~US$44 that I paid.

  • still too young but I´m sure it will develop and reach higher ratings
almost golden colour (I believe there is at least 80% pinot noir in the blend), intense nose of red berries, ripe red apple and some baked bread. almost full bodied, very very citric, still red apple.
long finish on the lemon notes

  • A lovely wine. Amber coloured, with a hefty effervecence. Bold palate with camphor, yeast, pastries, and bread. Ripe apples, baked fruit and lemon.
