  I don’t think I am being hyperbolic when I say this is the most surprising champagne value I have encountered. I bought a 6 pack from Crush many years ago and this third bottle marks a trifecta of classic quality bottles. Ripe apples and brioche. Deep - winey - complex. Mature. Long. I am going to drink the remaining bottles soon as I don’t see this getting any better. Wow. Have never seen the wine again - I need to look harder. (95)

  A fantastic showing of this wine. With red Delicious apples, caramel corn, and candied ginger on the nose, one might expect a blousy wine. However, on the palate, the wine was both full and tightly structured, with notes of green pear, ginger, straw, and crushed minerals.
