  This was half price on clearance in the local liquor shop. About 60 quid including taxes which I think is a reasonable punt for something of the 2012 vintage. Was nicely balanced with the vintage adding some body and complexity. Very fizzy on opening. Acidity actually grew with time in the glass. Was just really really enjoyable to drink. Not the most complex but every sip was a pleasure. (I think this is a maker/brand that only sells in Asia and perhaps some emerging markets - can’t find much reference to it in Europe)

  The obscene gift box and gold wrapping I consider a plus.
