  Red fruit and some vanilla on the nose. Palate is cherries, cranberry, some hints of raspeberry. Oak is subtle, nicely balanced acidity.
  
  Enjoyed this, better than a lot of new world Pinot, and while excellent value at the £17 paid, for me this was slightly lacking in complexity and length.
  
  Screwcap = minimal development, so may well be upside with a bit more age.

  Best of the night's NZ pinots. Bright fruit (nectarine?) And slight acidity. Nice complexity.

  Enjoyed this very much. Expansive, glossy, perfumed and complex. It covers lots of bases- pure rounded New World fruit, earthy and herbal notes, good mid-palate concentration and focused acidity- with further room for development.
