Excellent. Have found it a little heavy on savoury elements in the past but fruit was pleasantly prominent this time. I think perhaps drinking a little cooler helped to bring some of these flavours out. This was fresh from wine fridge at 13 degrees. Savoury stuff definitely all still there. Very nice.

Medium minus nose shows cranberry, light herbs, hint of sour earth. Palate is a little hot, bright cherry, juicy acidity, fresh sage, lovely finish with the acidity pulling through into raspberry and juniper notes. Medium tannins get in there too, lot of structure overall for Pinot. Good full bodied choice without being full in fruit like CA.

Moderate concentration. “Lunchtime Burgundy”? But there are some noce savoury notes to add a little complexity.
Drink now.

Weekly tasting group RWP #265: Pinot Noir worldwide (@ DJ): In the bouquet sweet ripe red fruits, good complexity and some pleasant barnyard. On the palate strawberry, juicy acidity, some oak, minerals like rust and earth.

Fine, vibrant and refreshing. Pale crimson in colour but lovely weight on the palate. Earthy, savoury, spicy on the finish.
