Yellow/amber colour. Large bq w salinity, red grapefruit, yeasty from flor, yellow apples, tones of dried fruit. Lots of acidity, plenty of fruit, minerals. Long aftertaste (if not complex). Very nice with food! Very interesting wine !!

Spanish fun day one (N&J's place, Canberra): From Coravin. Fino nuttiness; green almond; slight walnut; almond skin, backed by lemon, saline notes. And that Fino note is to the fore on the palate, quite saline, nutty with a little citric underpin, tangy, quite simple, travels long with non intrusive alcohol warmth and a touch of yeast extract. Okay.

TSA - Marco de Jerez (Zoom call): From Coravin. Oxidised with a touch of flor, almost an orange marmalde note, savoury, umami, saline, chalky minerality, touches of citrus, quite compelling nose. In the mouth it's dense, umami, savoury, almost yeast extract textured mid-palate. Pretty marvellous.

Like a Fino with less alcohol, this Palomino aged under flor is very complex and goes really well with tapas and cheese.

Fun stuff indeed! Like a cross between a Fina and an Arbois that is topped. Best day two so leave for year or three would be my best guess.
