Golden straw. Long, slow legs. Aroma of pear, red apple and peach. Crisp flavors of apple and citrus (grapefruit and tangerine). Fairly long flavor. Off dry. Nice QRP.

Range 89-92. To the nose, characteristic riesling stone fruit. On the palate, a blend of stone fruit (apple, green apple, pear, apricot and white peach) and lemon with slight zest and lime, but a streak of tangerine zipping through, for the citrus. Full mouthfeel and moderate length. Very good acidity and liveliness. Sweetness as off-dry at least. Paired well with baked ham.

PnP, chilled. Aromas of citrus and minerality. The slightly off-dry palate yielded some peach, green apple and lemon/lime along with a touch of minerality, with good acidity. A really good wine to pair with Cantonese and Sichuan food.

Racy acidity is paired with a touch of residual sugar, pear and wet stone and lemon and a bit of stonefruit and petrol, as well as an interesting barnyard note I wouldn’t expect. A strong example of Washington Riesling, albeit without some of the florals I often like.
