  • Nice but need more time. Very young still. Room for improvement.

  • Dinner at Iki Ramen (Iki Ramen, Los Angeles CA): The nose is fresh, fragrant, and citrus-driven with tones of green apples, peaches, pears, tropical citrus, green tea, chamomile, fresh shaved ginger, biscuits, baking spices, clove spices, and toast notes. This shows off good depth with it presenting a different take to Chardonnay. The Medium bodied feel is well balanced and fresh with racy, high acidity. This is my first time with Domaine Vincey and I'm really digging it. I look forward to trying more and seeing how they develop over the coming years.

  • Really sexy youthful Chardonnay champagne. The aroma is so alluring with an onslaught of orchard fruit. perfect balance between green and yellow fruits; apples, grapefruit, orange, papaya and slight lemon purée. I am loving the toastiness this has; vanilla and almost a tinge of coconut/cedar. Good saline, salty tinge too.

The palate mirrors the aroma perfectly with a great width on the palate with very fine bubbles and such a precise, high acidity.

    This is astoundingly good.

  • Super fresh and saline on the nose with restrained, pure green apple fruit, hints of grapefruit and aniseed, slight toastiness and complex spiciness. The mousse is very fine, dense and persistent. The palate is on the dry side yet impeccably balanced with perfectly judged dosage (3 g/l) and good richness. There is no lack of fruit but more than anything this is wonderfully savory and massively minerally with distinct spiciness towards the finish. A pretty chiseled wine, still obviously very young but I would expect it to develop really well.
