Restaurant bottle. Had to try this for the first time after seeing the ‘22 win Canberra’s international riesling challenge. The QPR is really solid at ~$25 a bottle RRP. Shows off the things I love about great southern rizza - there’s such purity and tension on show here. Drink now or later.

GT Wine March 2022 - Eden Valley & Great Southern Riesling (Winespace, Surry Hills): Lime, a tiny little reductive note. Soft but still with plenty of acidity, a little cats tongue rasp on the mid palate, fruit a touch muted but this is okay.

Colour: Silver / gold with a greenish tinge, very clear
Nose: Apple blossom, lime, talc
Palette: Lime, green apple, nice mineral finish
Very drinkable without the overly acidic finish of some young rieslings.
There's enough acid backbone though for it to age well for a few years.
