Wow. What a pleasurable wine. Decanted two hours. Translucent purple- ruby color. Dark red fruit and heat on the nose. Black raspberry and hints of plum on the palate. Full body with baking spices on the finish. Just terrific!

Black fruit with purple berries trying unsuccessfully to push through. This seemed a bit wound up to me even though I opened it a couple hours prior to pouring. I’ll wait a few more years before trying another.

2 hour slow ox. Nose: Garrique, moss and traces of petroleum & wet cement. Fabulous nose. Palate: Bitter minerals, soft styled tannins, and red fruits. Finish is elegant, but serve it chilled as I did to eliminate the alcohol heat (@55-60 degrees). 91+ points.
Light to medium-bodied, transluscent. Nose of red berry and red rose. Juicy raspberry, black tea undertones. Cherry and taragon lingers. Slight bitterness on the finish, with some alcohol heat (15.0%). Improved slightly on day 2 with soft tannins.

Drank over 2-days with considerable improvement on day 2. Very enjoyable wine & food friendly.
