I agree with GLRBO - day 1 it’s holding back. A slight not of citrus on the nose, a fairly muted mid-palate, and then the telltale tar/dime tap on the finish. I hope day 2 brings more …
Drunk over three evenings, the last one on the fifth day after opening and it showed best. On the first day the nose was quite muted and the palate seemed weirdly hollow. Similar on the second. On the last day the nose became expressive, elegant and beguiling, with a palate with a firm but light structure and a wonderful, complex expression of a young Nebbiolo.

Class: Climate Change "Winners" (Capital Wine School (via Zoom), Washington, DC): Now on this one I guessed Nebbiolo! Baking spice, clay pot, and rose. But apparently it's not from Piedmont, but from north of Milan, which is why it's included in our climate change class. Nice texture and flavor, and a great finish - almost creamy, balancing the acidity, which is high. Cranberry and red fruits, gritty tannins. Savory, lovely, excellent!

Already drinking well, but should develop for some years, a good balance of fruit and acidity
