  • Interesting nose with medium intensity. A spice I can't pinpoint and a fruity nose abit like canteloupe. On taste balanced acidity and juicy fruit with a slightly chalky finish.

  • Stunning! I'd been dying to try this wine for the several days after I had managed to snag it. We were enjoying a home cooked Thai dinner where the heat kept building and building. Finally, on the last course, I pulled the bottle of Uroulat Jurançon -- fabulous choice! Glowing golden in color, its slight weight and moderately sweet apricotness soothed our palate. We were smiling, sipping it still an hour after the meal, surrounded by piles of dirty dishes and scrapes of spicy food. In addition to the ripe pitted fruit, there was a mild spice and even a touch of salty herbs. The finish had encouraging acidity. It will be difficult to live without this wine. (D 3.5, F 6.5; SoPo)
