First time trying a Savennieres and it's fine if not particularly memorable. Tastes of honey (though not sweet), hay/grass, and lemon with a bit of funkiness. Good acidity. Balanced and has some depth, though the 14.5% ABV comes through a bit on the finish. Not bad, but the $35 pricetag is a bit high.
