I think this has been quite underated by some of the previous reviewers. It DOES have life left in it, possibly another 5 years. Quite a light nose with pine and honey, the palate is dry, complex and ever so slightly honeyed. A great example of dry Loire White, do not drink if you want a zingy fresh white.

This is past it's drinking window. Dark gold color, no pleasant aroma, and it tasted almost like pine sol smells. There is barely a hint of almond and citrus flavors remaining. It was probably really good at some point, just not now. From the local wine store, so storage may have been the issue. I couldn't drink it, but my husband said it was ok and had a couple glasses.

See previous note:: Delicious when opened. After about an hour, what was left in the bottle began to take on a deep golden/brown color as the wine started oxidizing. Not sure how much more life this has. Drink up the inventory!!

Golden color, and almost seemed slightly oxidized, but this is humming along quite well. Rich and full on the palate, yet retains much of that Savennieres "severity" in acid and mouthfeel, with a slightly chalky finish.

A slightly golden colored white with rich flavors. Notes of melon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Initially thought it was over the hill, but after about 30 minutes it was delicious.
